My name is Helen Stevens owner of the Kip McGrath Education Centre at Kingscote on Kangaroo Island. I am an experienced registered teacher who has taught in a range of schools in South Australia since 1979. In recent years I have developed an interest in working in the area of literacy as well as with students with specific learning difficulties. I am passionate about working with students and helping them to achieve their personal best.

Growing up in the country, I opened the centre because I believe that rural students should be able to access the same learning opportunities and learning support as students in urban locations.
